1. The Perfect Chair

I found a beautiful chair online.

The photos looked amazing.

It was stylish, comfortable-looking, and exactly what I wanted.

I ordered it immediately.

A few days later, the package arrived.

I opened the box excitedly.

Inside was a chair.

Technically.

It was so small that my cat could barely sit on it.

I checked the product description again.

There it was:

“Miniature decorative chair.”

I had somehow skipped the word “miniature.”

Now it sits on my desk.

Every time I look at it, I remember an important lesson:

Always read the description before spending money.

Especially when the furniture is cheaper than lunch.

2. The Mysterious Package

I received a notification saying:

“Your package has been delivered.”

I hadn't ordered anything.

I checked the front door.

Nothing.

I checked outside.

Nothing.

I asked my neighbors.

Nobody had seen a package.

Then I remembered that I had ordered something two weeks earlier and completely forgotten about it.

I searched my emails.

Sure enough, there was an order confirmation.

I finally found the package sitting behind a flowerpot.

I opened it.

Inside was a phone charger.

I stared at it for a moment.

I didn't remember ordering it.

Then I remembered why.

My old charger had stopped working.

I had ordered a replacement.

Apparently, the real problem wasn't my memory.

It was that I had forgotten about the problem I was trying to solve.

3. The Clothing Size

I ordered a shirt online and carefully selected my usual size.

When it arrived, I tried it on.

It was enormous.

I looked in the mirror.

The shirt looked less like clothing and more like a small tent.

I checked the label.

Correct size.

I checked the website.

Correct size.

I checked myself.

Also correct size.

At that point, I decided the shirt wasn't too big.

I was simply thinking too small.

So I rolled up the sleeves, tucked it in, and wore it anyway.

My friend saw me and asked, “Did you order that shirt for yourself?”

I said, “Yes.”

He nodded.

“Good. I thought you were hiding another person underneath it.”
