1. The Grocery List Adventure
I walked into the grocery store with a carefully written list and promised myself I would buy only what was on it. Five minutes later, I was holding snacks, a new mug, three kinds of cheese, and something labeled “limited edition” that I didn’t even understand.
I looked at my list and proudly realized I had bought everything on it—except the one item I actually came for.
Apparently, my shopping list had become less of a guide and more of a suggestion box.
2. The Phone Search
Yesterday, I spent ten minutes looking everywhere for my phone. I checked the sofa cushions, searched the kitchen counter, looked under a pillow, and even retraced my steps around the house.
Then I heard a strange buzzing sound.
It was my phone.
I was holding it in my hand the entire time.
At that point, I decided I deserved a break, so I used my phone to set a reminder to stop looking for my phone.
3. The Coffee Conversation
I made a cup of coffee in the morning and told myself I would drink it slowly while enjoying a peaceful start to the day.
Twenty minutes later, I found the coffee sitting untouched on the counter while I was busy answering messages, looking for my keys, and wondering why I was tired.
I finally took a sip and said, “Cold already?”
The coffee seemed to say, “You left me here to become a memory.”
